Empowerment Scheme 

 

Ascension understands  that we cannot help everyone but we can help reduce unemployment  by  helping the few  people we can with small medium business interest free loan or grant.  

​

In 2018 Ascension provided  business grant  for a woman in Ife, Osun State Nigeria through a verified referral because she was sick for a long time, lost all her money and source of income.

She setup a  kiosk  to sell basic household daily need, below picture was a year after  the kiosk business  was setup and  still running  till date and her standard of living had improved greatly and self sustaining.

For others below as well as others that are not listed we provided interest free loan for them e.g.  for sewing machine, shop for selling food stuff .

Ascension provided food stuff to various people as well as families of sponsored pupil  during critical period of covid outbreak.
